BRAG TIME!  Chamel Fields, 'quietly breeding and succeeding'.

Chamel Fields foals have been successful in the show ring over the years; some have moved on to new homes and some are still here.  Chamel Fields has been 'quietly breeding and succeeding' with winners for over 15 years.  Here is the line up.
It is with congratulations that I introduce the foals now living elsewhere, and with pride, of course, for all of them.   I am now unable to show myself due to health limitations and time constraints, so it is particularly gratifying that some are making their way in the world in the more capable hands of others.

And hot off the press, two champions from the MHAA National Championships at Easter, 2014.

Chamel Fields Sweet William

William has been a busy boy this year, being leased by Sharon Koukouzas and here shown by Sally Henderson at the Victorian Nationals where he won Champion Gelding.  Thanks to both girls for caring for and showing him so well.

And thank you to Lachlan Kerr who showed him at the MHAA National Championships where he won Grand Champion Senior Gelding, Classic Trot and unanimous First in the TripleRama.

The judge of the Classic Trot said that if William is not in harness, he should be, so guess what is up for William very soon?

Chamel Fields Pirouette

MHAA National Show, 2014

Thanks again to Sally Henderson and congratulations to  Piri who won Reserve Champion Filly under 30", 5th out of 15 for Classic Head and unanimous First in the TripleRama. Well done to you both.

Chamel Fields Handels Fire (2013)

Heartiest congratulations to  Sally Henderson of Jedarra Miniature Horse Stud of Elphinstone, Victoria, who now owns this real champion harness horse, Fire, who has blazed his way through miniature and full sized horse events over 2013 with many Champion and Reserve Champion wins, and again won Champion Harness Horse at the MHAA Victorian State Champs in 2014.
Go Sally, go Fire.  I am ever so proud of you both.

Chamel Fields Pandora (2011)

Congratulations to her owners, Mel and Julie Jackson for a great showing at the Foal Show, Oakbank, May 2011 for Supreme Exhibit of the Show!  Pandora is, incidently, half sister to Sweet William, above.

Sire: Fairyland King of Hearts
Dam: Chamel Fields Fruehling

Chamel Fields Chemise (2009)

Chemise, now a successful broodmare, and dam of Chamel Fields Pirouette above was a yearling filly
when shown at the Sydney Nationals in 2009 where she won
Reserve National Champion Filly in 2009.

Congratulations, Chemise. (Shown by D Cotton)

Sire: Bond Kid Gloves
Dam: Chamel Fields Windsong

Chamel Fie
lds Satin Side of the Moon (2006)

Satin was sold to Leanne and Tim White Of Rumbrook Stud and was shown in 2006.  I am not
sure but I think this photo  was at the Nationals in that year.
She is a cremello pinto mare.

        Sire: Bond Kid Gloves
        Dam: Belka Valley's Cosmic Smoke

Chamel Fields Sweet William

William first made his claim to fame as a yearling colt in Victoria in 2004, winning at Ballarat, the Victoria State Champs and the Nationals.
Since then, he has been the sire of 5 beautiful babes, but as 3 of them are well and truly small horse, he was gelded in 2012.

Sire: Shangrila Born To Win
Dam: Chamel Fields Fruehling

Chamel Fields Windsong (2003)

Windsong, a taffy buckskin pinto mare was also a successful entrant at the National Show winning Champion Yearling Filly in 2003.  She has since become a very successful broodmare, foaling
CF Chemise in 2008.  She is the granddam of CF Pirouette, so 3  generations of champions.
Watch out for her 2013 foal, Chamel Fields Winter Legend, who may end up a legend too!

Sire: Fairyland King of Hearts
Dam: Belka Valleys' Cosmic Smoke

Chamel Fields Fruehling

Fruehling won at the Nationals in the Amateur section at my very first National Show, and I can't remember the year!  Boy, was I chuffed!
She is now well and truly a chubby little broodmare, but still has a claim to fame as a dam of champions, CF Sweet William,  CF Whisket and CF Pandora.  Now owned by Julie and Mel Jackson of Hahndorf, SA along with her filly, CF Pandora.
Sire: Bond Kid Gloves
 Dam: Beltona Party Girl

Chamel Fields Bright and Sparky (Dec)

Sparky also won at the Nationals as a yearling gelding, the same show as Fruehling, above.
Sparky was always been a character with a sense of humour.    He was purchased by Lauren McGrath who now lives in Victoria.  He and his brother CF Sorcerer were my first carriage horses, and Sparky was actually driven at the Nationals the following year.

Sire: Bond Kid Gloves
Dam: Caramia Penny
RIP 2011

Chamel Fields Doublet (Dec)

Palomino gelding, owned by Donna Bootle, then of Meadows, SA.

Sire: Ashfield Park Napoleonic Legend
Dam: Belka Valley's Cosmic Smoke
                RIP 2012

Bay filly, was owned by Donna Bootle of Meadows, SA.  Whisket acted as if she was born to the show ring, and did very well for herself.

  Sire: Ashfield Park Napoleonic Legend
  Dam: Chamel Fields Fruehling
                RIP 2012

Chamel Fields Cavalier

Chestnut stallion, owned by Donna Bootle of Balaklava, SA. Known as "Ruff' at home, Cavalier is a little gentleman who has also succeeded in the show ring in his first show season.

Sire: Ashfield Park Napoleonic Legend
Dam: Chamel Fields Velvet Moon

 Chamel Fields Larkspur

'Larky' is a buckskin appaloosa small horse stallion, owned by John and Rosemary Bailey of Yeliab Stud at Balaklava, who has sired several handsome colts for them.  He and John have a very special affinity for each  other which is a joy to see.

Sire: Bond Kid Gloves
Dam: Wildflower Shamans Wild Melody

Stock is always available, including broodmares and show quality younger stock, as well as Dexter cattle - sometimes steers, cows and heifers.  You won't see much of us at the shows - too busy with other things, but when you do, take note.  All those who have been to the Nationals have come home successful, so have a look at the  Sales List  to find your mini delight.    Or better still, consider a broodmare for your stallion, or a stallion for your broodmare.  Chamel Fields, 'quietly breeding and succeeding'.
